How this website handles local searches, browser notes, external services and email contact.
Scope
This policy describes the delivered BlockDetective.com website and its public research features. It does not describe an independent explorer, hosting provider, browser extension or email service. Reviewed September 4, 2026.
Search input
The enhanced search interface processes supported identifiers in your browser and stores the active query in the page fragment for navigation. It does not send that query to a BlockDetective.com blockchain backend. Following an external explorer link sends the selected identifier to that provider. A non-JavaScript form submission can place the query in the URL and server logs; never enter secrets.
Local workspace notes
The sample investigator saves notes in browser local storage only when you select Save. Clear saved notes removes the stored note for this site. JSON export includes your current notes; CSV export includes the sample records. These files are created locally. Browser storage is not encrypted case-management storage and may be accessible to other users of the same browser profile.
Hosting and external resources
Requests to the website may be processed and logged by its hosting provider. The site requests typography from Google Fonts. Optional GSAP and Three.js enhancements load from third-party content delivery networks and can fall back when unavailable. Those services may receive normal request information such as an IP address and browser details under their own policies.
Analytics and wallet connections
The delivered website includes no advertising pixels, analytics tracker, account registration, newsletter signup or wallet-connection library. It does not request private keys, seed phrases, token approvals or wallet signatures.
Email contact
An email sent to [email protected] is handled by the sender’s and recipient’s email services. Share only information needed for your question. Do not email secrets or confidential investigation files. No contact form is embedded on this website.
